On an exploratory journey in the Al-Ahsa tour, our day begins with a warm welcome from our tour guide.
We will first head to the famous Land of Civilizations and Qara Mountain, where we will explore amazing caves and unique rock formations, reflecting on their ancient history and exciting stories. Then we will visit the Dougha Pottery Factory, where we will witness a wonderful display of traditional handicrafts.
After enjoying a traditional lunch, we will visit a tourist farm—one of Al-Ahsa’s most authentic experiences—offering visitors the chance to explore the life of a local farmer among palm groves and natural springs, with the opportunity to taste local products and enjoy a peaceful tour in a beautiful rural setting.
We will then proceed to Ibrahim Palace, a prominent historical landmark that blends Islamic and Ottoman architectural styles. It is considered one of the most significant historical fortresses in the region. We will explore its corridors, rooms, and massive walls, each telling the story of an important era in Al-Ahsa’s history.
We will then head to Jawatha Mosque, the second mosque where Friday prayers were held in Islam, and an important religious and tourist landmark. Afterwards, we will explore the historic Jawatha Village, enjoying the beauty of the nearby lake and the rich historical ambiance that fills the area.
We will conclude our day with shopping at Qaisariya Market, one of the oldest historical markets in Al-Ahsa and a site listed under UNESCO World Heritage. The market is distinguished by its traditional architecture and shops that reflect the spirit of old trade, offering visitors a rich experience that blends history, culture, and authenticity.
