Here, the essence of Najdi culture comes to life in old markets, traditional mud buildings, and palm groves stretching across the horizon. Our journey begins in the city of Buraidah, where you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide, who will accompany you throughout the day as we head to our first destination.
We begin the tour with a visit to Bab Al-Qasr Heritage Gate, where you’ll explore the beauty of traditional Najdi architecture and its fine details that reflect the elegance and depth of the past.
We then head to Souq Al-Jirdah, one of the oldest historical markets in Najd and formerly the largest camel market in the Arabian Peninsula. Here, you’ll experience the atmosphere of the past surrounded by local vendors and traditional crafts.
Our journey continues to the Beit Al-Aidan Heritage Museum, where you will explore rare artifacts and historical photographs documenting the life and traditions of past generations in the region.
From there, we visit the Al-Qassim Heritage and Cultural Center, a destination that showcases the region’s history, arts, and craftsmanship through cultural exhibits and heritage collections. During the visit, you will learn about the stages of development the region has gone through and how traditional life evolved over time.
We then continue our journey to discover the famous Camel Market in Buraidah, one of the largest and most active camel markets in the Kingdom, where you will observe the daily trading activities and learn about the cultural significance of camels in Saudi heritage.
Afterwards, we head toward the city of Unaizah, located about 30 km away, beginning our visit with the Souq Al-Masokaf, one of the oldest traditional markets in Najd, where you can purchase souvenirs and handcrafted items.
Next, we visit the beautiful Al-Bassam Heritage House, a stunning mud-brick palace that represents traditional Najdi architecture with its palm-frond ceilings and native woodwork.
Our tour continues with a visit to the Al-Awsiyah Bird Sanctuary, home to a wide variety of rare and colorful bird species — a delightful experience for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
From there, we proceed to Jadat Al-Nakheel (Palm Boulevard), one of Unaizah’s modern landmarks, stretching 1.5 kilometers between palm trees, contemporary designs, and peaceful green pathways.
