Qubaa Mosque

The Qiblatain Mosque in Madinah is a remarkable Islamic landmark, named for the historic prayer in which the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ began facing Jerusalem (Bayt Al-Maqdis) and, by divine revelation, turned midway to face the Kaaba in Makkah.

This pivotal event took place during the second year of Hijrah while the Prophet ﷺ was leading the Dhuhr prayer, marking the moment when the qibla for Muslims was permanently changed toward Al-Masjid Al-Haram.

Since then, the mosque has been known as the Mosque of the Two Qiblas, a powerful symbol of unity and a milestone in Islamic history.
